According to a statement issued by Taiwanese company Gold Apollo on Wednesday, the AR-924 pager was manufactured by BAC Consulting KFT. Hezbollah officials said that according to reports, walkie-talkies and solar equipment were also used for targeting. Several explosions were heard while burying three Hezbollah members and a child who were killed in a pager explosion a day earlier in Beirut. An AP photographer in the southern coastal city of Sidon saw a car and a mobile phone shop damaged due to the blasts. A Hezbollah official, keeping his identity anonymous, told AP that the walkie-talkies used by the group were blown up.
