Trump threatened BRICS countries who were thinking of boycotting the dollar, gave this trailer – Top News Bulletin

Washington: America's newly elected President Donald Trump has given a big warning to the BRICS countries thinking of using any other currency in place of the US dollar. Trump asked the BRICS countries to promise that they will not do this. He said that if the BRICS countries do this then they should not think that the Americans will keep watching all this as a mute spectator. Trump said that the era is over now that America will remain silent on such decisions. Trump said, “We want those countries to promise that they will neither create a new BRICS currency, nor support any other currency in place of the mighty US dollar, otherwise they will be slapped with 100 percent tariffs and they will be barred from using the wonderful US markets.” You will have to give up the hope of selling your goods.

Let us tell you that BRICS includes nine countries including India, Russia, China and Brazil. Russian President Putin has currently claimed to include about 30 other countries in it in the future. During the recent BRICS conference held in Brazil, Putin himself had suggested the BRICS countries to trade in their own currency instead of dollars. Since then America has become worried. Trump asked the group BRICS to promise that they would not do so. Let us tell you that BRICS, established in 2009, is the only big international grouping in which America is not included.

Many other countries have also become members of BRICS

Apart from the 9 permanent members of BRICS, many other countries have also become members of BRICS. These include South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia and United Arab Emirates. In the past few years, BRICS countries, especially Russia and China, have been trying to introduce their own BRICS currency as an alternative to the US dollar. However, India has not yet been involved in any such step. Trump on Saturday warned the BRICS countries against any such step.

Trump wrote on the social media platform 'Truth Social', “The era when BRICS countries try to move away from the dollar and we continue to watch as mute spectators is now over.” He said, “We want those countries to promise that they will neither create a new BRICS currency, nor support any other currency in place of the mighty US dollar, otherwise they will be imposed 100 per cent tariffs and they will be allowed to sell their goods in the wonderful US markets. Hope of selling goods will have to be given up. (Language)
