Islamabad: Pakistan, the nurturer of terrorists, is now itself plagued by terrorism. The terrorists whom Pakistan nurtured have now become snakes in its sleeve. General Zhang Youxia, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission (CMC) and one of China's two top military officials, is on a visit to Pakistan with a high-level delegation, according to a military statement. General Zhang held a one-on-one meeting with Army Chief General Asim Munir on Wednesday, which was followed by delegation-level talks. According to the statement, the talks focused on “matters of mutual interest, regional security dynamics, regional stability measures and enhancing bilateral defense cooperation”. General Zhang talked about Pakistan's counter-terrorism efforts. Terrorism has become a major topic of discussion between the two countries due to increasing attacks on Chinese citizens working in Pakistan.

According to the newspaper 'Dawn', it is being said that Beijing is no longer able to trust Pakistan regarding the safety of its citizens. Therefore, now China wants a more active role in ensuring the security of its citizens in Pakistan, but the ministry says that counter-terrorism cooperation between the two countries is based on mutual respect for each other's sovereignty.
