Seoul: North Korea on Friday accused South Korea of flying a drone over its capital to drop anti-national propaganda material. Along with this, a threat has been given by Kim Jong that strict retaliatory action will be taken against such activity in future. North Korea's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that South Korean drones were reported flying over the capital Pyongyang on October 3 and last Wednesday and Thursday. The ministry accused South Korea of violating North Korea's sovereignty and threatening its security.
North Korea's ministry said its security forces would “make every possible preparation for an attack” and that if South Korean drones were seen again in North Korean territory, they would take strong countermeasures without warning. The ministry said that if the mistake is repeated again, the neighboring country will have to be prepared for attack. South Korea's government and military did not immediately react to North Korea's statement.
North Korea is preparing for war
Let us tell you that North Korea has been preparing for war for a long time. Tensions between the two countries have increased in recent months as North Korean leader Kim Jong Un stepped up weapons tests and threatened attacks and South Korea stepped up joint military exercises with the United States. North Korea on Wednesday said it would permanently block its border with South Korea and develop frontline defense capabilities to deal with “provocative actions” by South Korean and US forces. (AP)
