On the second day of his 3-day US visit, PM Modi held a fruitful meeting with big American companies at the 'Lotte New York Palace Hotel' on Sunday. CEOs of 15 major US companies working on cutting-edge technologies like AI, 'quantum computing' and 'semiconductors' took part in it. Prime Minister Modi's leadership and India's market are attracting American companies. This is the reason why most American companies want to get an opportunity to invest in India.

When Prime Minister Modi posted the information about his meeting with the CEOs of American giant companies on the social media platform 'X', it created a stir even in China. China might not have expected that American companies would be so impressed by Modi's magic. The Prime Minister wrote in the post, “Participated in a meaningful round table conference with CEOs of technology companies in New York. Discussed aspects related to technology, innovation and other topics. I was happy to see their optimistic outlook on India's progress in this field.” According to the Ministry of External Affairs, during the conference, Modi said that cooperation in the field of technology and efforts like Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies (ICET) are at the core of India-US comprehensive global strategic partnership.

PM Modi said that his government is committed to making India a “global hub for semiconductor manufacturing”. On the subject of AI, he said that India's policy is based on promoting AI for all and its ethical and responsible use. The CEOs appreciated India's growing dominance as a global technology hub, driven by its innovation-friendly policies and rich market opportunities. They also expressed keen interest in investing and collaborating with India.
