BRICS Summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Russia on a 2-day visit to participate in the BRICS Summit. Along with the BRICS conference, the eyes of the whole world are also focused on which heads of countries PM Modi will have a bilateral meeting with in Russia. India's Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar has said that PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with counterparts of BRICS member countries in Kazan.
Before the Russia visit, Prime Minister Modi had said, “I am going on a two-day visit to Kazan on the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. I will participate in the 16th BRICS Summit. India attaches great importance to close cooperation within BRICS. BRICS has emerged as an important platform for dialogue and discussion on issues such as the global development agenda, multilateralism, climate change, economic cooperation, building strong supply chains, promoting cultural and people-to-people ties.
