Peshawar: Pakistani Army's operation against terrorists continues. For the last few days, the army has been running a campaign against terrorists. In the latest case, Pakistani security forces on Friday attacked terrorist hideouts with helicopters in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. During this period, the army has claimed to have killed at least 17 terrorists.
According to army sources, these operations were carried out in Bannu and North Waziristan districts on the basis of secret information. Security forces killed 12 terrorists in a helicopter attack on the hideout of terrorists belonging to Hafiz Gulbahadur group in Baka Khel area of Bannu district. The second operation was carried out in Haso Khel area of Mir Ali in North Waziristan, where five terrorists were killed.
Large quantity of ammunition and weapons recovered
Pakistani Army has also recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition from the terrorists. Army sources said that a large quantity of arms and ammunition were seized from the terrorists. Security forces also released photographs of the killed terrorists. Additional troops have been dispatched to assist the security forces and the operation is ongoing.
