Insulting Pakistan is nothing new to the world. Pakistan is criticized all over the world on every issue. Still, it doesn't matter to Pakistan. Once again Pakistan has raised the flag of getting itself insulted in this world. In fact, Pakistan's condition is very worse in the World Justice Project (WJP) Rule of Law Index, 2024. The list of Rule of Law Index, 2024 includes 142 countries of the world, in which Pakistan is at number 140. That is, the law and order situation in this country is so bad that it has been considered the third worst country in the world. The only countries ranking lower than Pakistan in terms of law and security are Mali and Nigeria.

Denmark is at number one in this ranking. After that, Norway is at second place, Finland at third, Sweden at fourth and Germany at fifth. This list has been released by WJP. This list is released every year. In which countries are evaluated on the basis of various factors. In which these eight major factors are kept in mind. These include restrictions on government powers, absence of corruption, open government, fundamental rights, order and security, regulatory enforcement, civil justice, and criminal justice.
Pakistan is at which rank in which list?
According to the WJP Rule of Law Index 2024, Pakistan is ranked 129th out of 142 countries in the rule of law index. Apart from this, Pakistan has been ranked at 103rd place for restrictions on government powers, 120th place for corruption, 106th place for democratic government, 128th place for fundamental rights and 98th place for criminal justice. In this index, among the six South Asian countries, Pakistan and Afghanistan are at the lowest rank.
