South Korean intelligence agencies have claimed that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has sent thousands of soldiers to help Russia in the war with Ukraine. Let us tell you that a few days ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong had met and both the countries had made many big agreements.

How many soldiers were sent?

South Korean intelligence agencies have said that North Korea has sent 12,000 troops to help Russia in the war with Ukraine. South Korea's Yonhap News Agency has given this information on Friday. The news agency quoted inputs from the National Intelligence Service (NIS) that North Korean troops have already left to assist Russia. However, NIS has not immediately confirmed this news.

President of South Korea held a meeting

The President of South Korea has held an emergency meeting regarding the issue of North Korea sending troops to help Russia. The office of President Yoon Suk Yeol has said that the President has presided over the emergency meeting. Till now the government has not confirmed whether it has considered the news of North Korea sending troops as authentic or not.

Australia will give tanks to Ukraine

On the other hand, Australia has announced to give its 49 old M1A1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. Australia's Defense Minister Richard Marles has said that Ukraine had requested to give it this tank a few months ago. Marles said the Australian government is giving Ukraine most of its American-made M1A1 tanks, which are worth 245 million Australian dollars (163 million US dollars). They will be replaced in Australia by a fleet of 75 next generation M1AK2 tanks.
