Joe Biden's farewell speech at the United Nations, special mention made of India and China – Top News Bulletin

US President Joe Biden delivered his last speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Tuesday. During this, he talked about the ongoing tension in the Middle East and the elections held in countries around the world, including India. In his speech, Biden gave a strong message to China and said that he would continue to strengthen alliances and partners in the Indo-Pacific. He said that America should not back down from helping the world. Biden made this remark amid the threat of the ongoing tension between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon turning into a full-fledged war and the completion of almost a year of Israel's military campaign against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Talked about ending conflict in West Asia

In his address, Biden stressed the need to end conflicts in West Asia and end the 17-month-long civil war in Sudan. He underlined the full support of the US and its Western allies for Ukraine, which has been facing Russian aggression since February 2022. Biden said, “I have seen a remarkable change in history. I know that when many people look at the world today, they see troubles and they react with despair, but I don't. When the world works together, we are stronger than we think.”
