Beirut: Israel is continuously bombing Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Meanwhile, for the first time in six days, Israeli planes attacked southern areas of Beirut early on Wednesday. This information has been given by the government media of Lebanon. The number of casualties in these attacks is not yet clear. This attack took place at a time when Lebanon's acting Prime Minister Najib Mikati had said a day earlier that the US government had given some assurances to reduce the attacks being carried out by Israel in the capital Beirut.

Israel says it is targeting Hezbollah assets in the suburbs of Beirut where the terrorist group is based. But, it is also a busy residential and commercial area. The Israeli military said the attack on Wednesday targeted an weapons warehouse in a residential building. The Israeli army warned on the social site 'X' to evacuate the area, saying that it was targeting a building in the Haret-Harik area.
What did Hezbollah do?
Hezbollah started firing rockets at Israel on October 8 in solidarity with the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Earlier, Lebanon's official National News Agency reported that 15 people were killed and 15 others were injured in Israeli attacks late Tuesday night in the southern city of Qana. The Israeli Army has not yet commented on this attack late on Tuesday night. Many civilians were killed in the 1996 Israeli attack on the United Nations compound in Qana. (AP)
