The White House on Thursday condemned debunked stories spread by Donald Trump about Haitian immigrants eating domestic dogs and cats in Ohio, calling them “filth” and saying they were endangering people's lives.
“Dirt is being spread that endangers the lives of the communities that are being defamed here… their lives are in danger,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at a news conference.
