Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued a warning about North Korea's involvement in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He said that North Korean soldiers have not yet participated in the war. He said it was a matter of days, not months, before they would go into battle. Zelensky also questioned China's silence on this issue. He also highlighted that China's silence as a regional security guarantor is shocking. Zelensky has also shared a post regarding this on the social media site.
Zeleski said- North Korean soldiers preparing to fight
Sharing the post on X, Zelensky wrote, 'I gave an interview to South Korea's KBS, in which North Korea's official role in this war was emphasized. It's not just about weapons or workers in Russian factories. North Korean troops are preparing to fight Ukraine in our occupied region of Kursk. That means a war of two countries against one. Zelensky strongly condemned Russia over its decision to involve Korean troops in the ongoing war against Ukraine. He emphasized that Russia has openly partnered with North Korea and purchased approximately 3.5 million artillery pieces.
Zaleski condemned Russia
Zelensky further said that it has been more than two years since this war and soon we will complete 1 thousand days of Russia's brutal aggression against Ukraine, our people, our cities and our way of life. It is no surprise that as the war progresses, Russia is trying to escalate it in new ways. One of these methods is the involvement of the North Korean military. Russia has started openly partnering with North Korea. Have even started boasting about this alliance. They have bought millions of guns from North Korea, about 3.5 million guns.
