Cartridges seen scattered on the roads in Pakistan, Army had ordered 'shoot-at-sight' – Top News Bulletin

Islamabad: There is tremendous political uproar in Pakistan these days. Security personnel took swift action at midnight in D Chowk and its surrounding areas located in the country's capital Islamabad. Supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan have ended their protest after the action taken by security personnel. However, in the video from Pakistan, it is seen that empty cartridges are scattered on the roads. International Human Rights Foundation has also taken cognizance of the video and has slammed Pakistan. Meanwhile, Pakistan Army has also issued orders to shoot the protesters at sight.

'Trying to kill as many people as possible'

Imran Khan's party PTI has termed the action of security personnel as an attempt at 'genocide' carried out under 'fascist military rule'. It is being said that the police have arrested about 450 protesters. Khan's party has said that the security personnel had opened fire on the protesters with the intention of killing as many people as possible. According to reports, at least 6 people have been killed in the action taken by security forces in Pakistan. PTI said that there is bloodshed in the country. Let us tell you that Imran Khan, who was in jail since August last year, had given a 'final call' for nationwide protests on 24 November. He made this call on 13 November.

Human Rights Foundation also raised questions

At the same time, the International Human Rights Foundation has said on the situation in Pakistan, 'The International Human Rights Organization (IHRF) condemns the brutal use of force by the Pakistani state against peaceful protesters. Reports of extrajudicial abductions, political persecution, and international repression by the authoritarian regime in Pakistan continue to attract global attention. We urge the international community to respond to the military junta-backed regime in Pakistan, which came to power through allegedly massively rigged elections.' The Foundation has also criticized the imprisonment of Imran Khan.
