Washington: A major conspiracy to create disturbances in the US Presidential Elections 2024 has been exposed. According to a secret report, Chinese hackers have broken into the American elections. It is being claimed that Chinese hackers have hacked the phone data of Republican Party candidate Donald Trump, his aide JD Vance and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris campaign. This sensational report has created panic in the entire country before the US Presidential elections to be held on November 5.
It is being told that Verizon's system was breached by Chinese hackers and phones belonging to Kamala Harris and Donald Trump were targeted. Chinese hackers who tapped into Verizon's systems targeted phones used by people associated with Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris' campaign, a person familiar with the situation said Friday. According to media reports, after this, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his partner JD Vance were also targeted.
Intrusion into Trump and Vance's phone systems
According to reports, the phone systems of Donald Trump and his aide JD Vance were targeted by Chinese hackers. The Trump campaign was made aware this week that Trump and Vance were among several people inside and outside the government whose phone numbers were targeted through the intrusion into Verizon phone systems. However, the Trump campaign has not yet confirmed that his and Vance's phones have been targeted. Steven Cheung, the campaign's communications director, said Vice President Harris has encouraged China and Iran to attack US infrastructure to prevent Trump from becoming president again. The Chinese Embassy in Washington said that China opposes and counters cyber attacks and cyber theft in all forms.
Iran also accused of hacking
Earlier, the US Justice Department accused three members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps of hacking with the intention of trying to disrupt the November 5 election. The FBI, the US cyber and infrastructure security agency, said on Friday they are investigating unauthorized access to commercial telecommunications infrastructure by people linked to China. The agencies' joint statement did not name the targets of the incident. Verizon said it was reportedly aware of a sophisticated effort to target US telecoms and gather intelligence. The largest US telecommunications company said it was working with law enforcement. (Reuters)
