Washington: The presidential election in America is approaching and the war of words between the candidates has intensified. US President Joe Biden has compared the supporters of Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump to 'garbage'. Not only this, Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris has described her Republican rival Trump as 'unstable' and 'obsessed with revenge'. Harris went so far as to say, “This is a man who is full of grievances and yearns for power.”
What did Joe Biden say?
“The trash I see floating out there is his supporters,” Joe Biden said during a campaign event. “Just a few days ago, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage,” he said. Well, I want to tell you something. I don't know that Puerto Rican. The Puerto Rico I know is in my home state of Delaware and the people there are nice, civilized, respectful.”
