News portal 'bdnews24.com' said in its news that the attack took place at 2.30 pm in Harish Chandra Munsef Lane of the port city.

Hindu temples attacked in Bangladesh

During this, the attackers targeted Shantaneshwari Matri Temple, Shani Temple and Shantaneshwari Kalibari Temple. The news portal quoted temple officials as saying that a group of hundreds of people shouting slogans threw bricks and stones. Due to this Shani temple and two other temples were damaged. Kotwali police station chief Abdul Karim confirmed the attack and said that the attackers who attacked the temples tried to damage the temples. Police said that there was very little damage to the temple in this attack. Let us tell you that there is a political debate going on in India also regarding the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.

Raghav Chadha demands condemnation motion

On Friday, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha presented a motion in the Rajya Sabha demanding passing of a condemnation motion against Bangladesh. Raghav Chadha said that the atrocities and attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh should be discussed. Recently, there was a demand for discussion on the illegal arrest of ISKCON saint Chinmoy Das. He said, 'On this, I tried to put forward this demand, what is the government talking to the Bangladesh government, since the coup in Bangladesh, what steps have been taken to keep Hindus safe, the government should discuss this in the House. Please answer. Also, the entire House should simultaneously issue a motion condemning the arrest of Chinmay Das.
