PM Modi US Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to America. During this, PM Modi participated in the Quad summit. During this visit of PM Modi, US President Joe Biden gave a gift to India. America has handed over 297 of its ancient precious artifacts to India. These artifacts were smuggled from India to foreign countries. America has given 578 such historical objects to India in the last 10 years.
America has returned heritage earlier also
PM Narendra Modi's previous visits to the US have also been very successful in terms of returning antiquities to India. When PM Modi visited the US in the year 2021, the US government had returned 157 ancient heritages to India. These ancient heritages returned in 2021 also included the 12th century bronze Nataraja statue.

Let us tell you that, on the occasion of the 46th World Heritage Committee in Delhi in July 2024, India and America signed the 'Cultural Property Agreement' for the first time. The purpose of which was to stop the illegal smuggling of Indian antiquities from India to America.
