Singapore: Foreign Minister S. After completing the successful tour of Australia, Jaishankar has now reached Singapore on Friday on his next mission. There he met Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong and discussed with him ways to advance the bilateral partnership. The talks between the two leaders focused on areas like industrial parks, innovation and semiconductors. Jaishankar has reached Singapore on the second leg of his two-nation visit.
Jaishankar had earlier visited Australia. Where he took the bilateral partnership further to strengthen India-Australia relations. Along with this, he also surprised Canadian PM Justin Trudeau by issuing a joint statement with Australia against the attack on the Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada. Trudeau was shocked by this strategy of S. Jaishankar, who was on a special mission of PM Modi's diplomacy. The situation became such that they even banned an Australian channel which was broadcasting the news of the joint statement on the attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. From this it can be understood how India is succeeding in encircling Canada along with its friendly countries.

The Foreign Minister is now in Singapore. Here he posted on the social media platform 'X', “Began my visit to Singapore by meeting Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong. Discussed taking forward contemporary partnerships focusing on industrial parks, green energy, skills, innovation and semiconductors.'' Jaishankar during his one-day visit to ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) – 'India Network of Will address the eighth round table conference of 'Think Tanks'. He will also meet the top leadership of Singapore to review the close partnership between the two countries and explore opportunities to further enhance bilateral relations.
