Churu. Churu district's Rajgarh police station and cyber cell team have succeeded in arresting accused Suresh Poonia son Jagram (50) resident Radha Chhoti police station Rajgarh Churu who was absconding for 5 years in Surendra Jadia murder case. A reward of ₹10000 has been announced by the District SP on the arrest of the accused.
SP Jai Yadav said that on 9 May 2019 at around 7:30 pm, Jadia transporter Surendra alias Dhillo was shot dead in Rajgarh town. In this case, the police had arrested all the accused including gangster Sampat Nehra, accused Suresh Poonia was absconding in the case for five years.
SP Yadav said that for the arrest of the absconding accused, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Kishori Lal and CO Prashant Kiran and under the leadership of SHO Rajgarh Pushpendra Jhajhadia, with the technical support of Constable Ramakant of Cyber Cell, the accused Suresh Poonia was traced and arrested on Monday, due to which further investigation is being carried out.
SP Yadav said that due to business competition and animosity between Balaji Transport and Jaria Transport operators, the dispute between the two started increasing. Balaji Transport operators talked to the infamous gangster Sampat Nehra, who is in jail, through WhatsApp call and hatched a conspiracy to kill Surendra alias Dhillo. On the day of the incident, Sampat Nehra was shot dead by three sources, Dinesh Dagar alias Fauji, Pawan Totla alias wrestler and Naveen Jhajjar.
