Earlier the last date of application was 30 October 2024. Under this scheme, till now more than 9 thousand applicants have finally submitted their applications. State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Class Welfare and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Narendra Kashyap said that keeping in mind the interests of educated unemployed young men and women of other backward classes, a decision has been taken to extend the application date, so that more and more youth can apply for this scheme. As per the revised schedule, trainees will have to upload all necessary educational certificates and other documents online along with their applications. After this, it is necessary to download the copy of the application and submit it in hard copy along with all the necessary records to the office of the concerned District Backward Class Welfare Officer by 10 November 2024. From November 11 to November 16, 2024, the District Backward Classes Welfare Officer will verify the income, caste certificate and educational records of the applicants online by taking the print of the applications received online and their records.
Thereafter, the applications of eligible trainees will be verified and locked and erroneous or ineligible applications will be rejected. After preparing the list of trainees, according to the target allotted by the Directorate, institutionwise and coursewise, after approval from the district level, the names of the selected beneficiaries will be digitally locked. Along with this, a waiting list of selected candidates will also be prepared, which will get the approval of the District Level Selection Committee. From 18th November 2024 to 24th November 2024, the selected candidates will be registered in NIL for admission in the concerned institution. Allotment will be given to candidates from the waiting list in place of candidates who do not take admission. Under this process, the admission status will be updated online on the portal and the processes for the Aadhaar attendance system of the trainees will be completed. From November 25, 2024, the training of the selected trainees will be started simultaneously in all the districts at the state level.
Director Backward Class Welfare Dr. Vandana Verma has directed all the District Backward Class Welfare Officers except Kanpur Dehat and Shravasti to give wide publicity to the revised timetable of the second phase free of cost. Also, according to the government order and previously issued guidelines, all necessary actions should be completed within the stipulated time.
