New Delhi:
In the video, an agitated taxi driver argues aggressively with the woman. When she asks him why he is shouting, he replies: “Tera baap deta hain kya gas ke paise“? (Does your father pay for my gas?)”
The woman says that she will file a complaint with the police, to which the driver replies that he can do whatever he wants. She also asks him why he slapped her and the furious driver tries to snatch her phone and insists that she get into his car to go to the police station, but she refuses. The video concludes with the driver finally driving away.
@BlrCityPolice@CPBlr,
Is this acceptable behaviour from a car driver? Harassing a female passenger!

Alok Kumar, Additional Director General of Police Traffic and Road Safety, responded to his post and said, “Such behaviour is unacceptable. (A few like him) are giving a bad name to the auto driving community. I have informed the concerned for appropriate action.”
The driver of the car was arrested by the Magadi Highway Police and “action is being initiated for the offence committed under the law,” the police said.

The woman said she and her friend initially booked two cars on Ola due to peak hours and cancelled the one booked by her friend when the one she booked arrived first, after which the driver of the cancelled cab followed them and abused them.
“Yesterday in Bangalore (Bengaluru), my friend and I booked two cars from Ola due to rush hour. I arrived first so she cancelled hers. The other auto driver followed us, furious. Despite explaining the situation to him, he started shouting and swearing at us,” X wrote on social media demanding immediate action.
“The driver verbally attacked us, questioned whether the car belonged to my father and made derogatory comments. I started recording, which further enraged him. When I mentioned that I would report him, he defied me, showing no fear of the consequences,” she added.
The woman also claimed the driver tried to snatch her phone and slapped her when she resisted.
“Despite that, he continued with his threats, saying that he would also hit me with his slippers,” she added.
Ola also responded to the woman's post saying that the incident “sounds quite alarming” and will be investigated.
