Bhilwara. Police station Sadar of the district, with the help of DST and cyber cell, revealed the incidents of theft of nutrition and other material in schools and arrested two accused, Naru Shah son of Razzaq Shah (30), resident of Nikumbh Hall near Eidgah, police station Dungla, district Chittorgarh and Latif Shah son of Babu Shah (35), resident of Bigod Hall, Shastri Nagar Police Station City Kotwali Bhilwara has been arrested.
SP Dharmendra Singh said that during the interrogation of the accused, 19 incidents of theft have come to light in more than a dozen schools of Bhilwara district. In which the police recovered most of the material related to the incidents like 38 gas cylinders, printer, laptop, inverter, battery, wheat and rice etc. and seized the Maruti van and loading tempo used in the incident. The accused used to commit crimes with stolen loading tempo and stolen motorcycles.
SP Singh said that for the last few months, unknown thieves were breaking the locks of government schools located in Kalyakheda, Richhada, Siddiyas and Bhadani Kheda of Police Station Sadar Circle at night and stealing nutrition, sports and electronic material. To uncover these incidents, a special team was formed from Police Station Sadar, Cyber Cell and DST under the supervision of ASP Parasmal Jain and CO Shyam Sundar and under the leadership of SHO Ugma Ram.
Taking prompt action by the formed teams with technical assistance, scientific research and traditional policing, two accused Naru Shah and Latif Shah were arrested and the vehicle used in the incident and stolen goods were recovered from their possession. Investigation is going on in relation to other accused involved in these incidents and the remaining goods.
Head constable Jaiprakash and constable Sachdev of police station Sadar and constable Chandrapal of cyber cell and constable Bhupendra Singh of DST had special contribution in the disclosure of these cases and arrest of the accused.
