Udaipur. Saira police station of Udaipur district has succeeded in arresting two accused of twowheeler theft, Mahesh, resident of Bhitwara district, Pali and Mithalal, resident of Rani, district Pali. Police have also recovered 13 stolen motorcycles from the accused.
SP Yogesh Goyal said that Saira resident Vijay Singh had reported that an unknown thief had stolen the bike parked outside his house on the night of 17 October. A case was registered on this and investigation was started. To stop such incidents of twowheeler thefts in the city, a special team was formed under the supervision of CO Suryaveer Singh and the leadership of SHO Praveen Jugwat.
On the basis of technical assistance formed by the special team and information received from the informer, two suspects Mahesh and Mithalal, residents of Pali, were detained and interrogated psychologically and they admitted to committing the above incident. The police have recovered a total of 13 motorcycles from the accused. Out of which he has admitted stealing 09 bikes from Udaipur, two bikes from Pali and one from Sirohi. Advance research is being done on the accused.
