KThe 'short cut' human tendency to earn maximum money in minimum time and cost has put almost the entire country in trouble. The abundance of fake and adulterated goods in the Indian market is the result of this trend. But when the same adulterated or fake ingredients start being used in food items, then undoubtedly it is nothing but directly playing with human life or giving slow poison. The entire country is well aware of the fact that the consumption of milk and milk products is many times more than the milk production in our country. Where does this milk come from? In the present era of social media, countless such videos have gone viral in which fake and poisonous milk can be seen being made. Fake and adulterated desi ghee, khoya, everything is being made and sold in the country. The general public, unable to differentiate between genuine and fake, is forced to eat and drink the same slow poison. And by consuming these or many food items made from them, people are falling prey to various diseases. Now it has reached such a level that recently, fake ghee made in the name of brands of popular desi ghee like Amul and many other companies was caught from the country's capital Delhi, Ghaziabad, Modinagar and Jind in Haryana.
These people doing business of poisonous food items sell Amul Ghee, Madhusudan Ghee, Mother Dairy Ghee, Patanjali Cow Ghee, Varka Ghee, Nestle Everyday Ghee, Anand Ghee, Param Desi Ghee, Milkfood Desi Ghee, Madhu Ghee, Lakshya Ghee and Shweta used to use fake brand packs of companies like Ghee. And desi ghee being prepared under the brand name of these different companies was being made and sold in the market. Only in the factory manufacturing desi ghee in Jind, Haryana, 2500 liters of raw material of fake ghee was recovered. Police have accused Hrithik Khandelwal Mathura, Sanjay Bansal Shahdara Delhi, Rohit Agarwal Modinagar Ghaziabad, Krishna Goyal Jind, Naresh Singhla and Ashwani alias Ashu Jind for running this adulterated network.
Eating fake poisonous ghee means inviting cancer. Actually, starch like potato and sweet potato is often adulterated in desi ghee. But, sometimes coal tar dye or other dangerous chemicals are also added to it, which can cause problems like food poisoning, allergies to dangerous diseases like cancer. According to reports, on November 12 (Tuesday), 50 thousand marriages took place in a single day in Delhi alone. Just imagine how much milk, ghee, cheese, khoya, sweets etc. would have been consumed in every wedding. Similarly, at weddings and other functions across the country, you will get ghee, milk, curd, butter, khoya, cheese etc. whenever and wherever you want.
The question is that when the government and administration are aware of the news of this counterfeiting and adulteration and its network and despite adequate laws being made to stop it, why is this process of adulteration continuing for decades? Why has the 'shortcut' tendency of some people to earn more money forced the entire country to consume slow poison? Why are the courage of these poison dealers increasing day by day? To know this, it is important to mention an incident from neighboring China.
A few years ago, the business of making fake milk was started in China by two such people with criminal mentality. Within a few days, this fake milk came under investigation. When this network collapsed, the government there gave death sentence to both these criminals. From then till today no other network of fake milk has raised its head there. To be honest, the government, administration and public are all responsible to some extent for promoting such fake, adulterated and poisonous food networks in our country.
If you look at the newspapers of the country, there is hardly a day when such a network of fake, adulterated and poisonous food items is not caught. But you will rarely or almost never read the news that people associated with a particular fake, adulterated food network have been given strict punishment. The reason for this is that the administration which praises the way it has caught the adulteration network is not able to deliver the evidence related to them to the court with the promptness that is seen in the media at the time of raids.
Now, since the courts give their decisions only on the basis of evidence, testimony and documents and making evidence, testimony and documents available in the court is a matter of the executive, hence due to lack of evidence, testimony and documents, all the arrested accused do not get punished. That is why it has become a common belief that people associated with such networks save themselves on the basis of corruption and bribery and it is obvious that after being acquitted, these same people resume the same work of selling poison to the common people with great courage. Let's do it.
The public is responsible because it protects such criminals in the society. People who are involved in fake, adulterated food networks are not aliens, nor do they drop from the sky. They also live in some street, locality, colony or cities and villages. When these people are caught selling poison, their relatives and neighbors all come to know about their actions. In fact, society should completely socially boycott such people. Even if they are acquitted in the court due to their cunningness or bribery, the people in their neighborhood and all their acquaintances should socially boycott them.
Is it surprising that the people of the same society, who commit the organized and intentional crime of killing people by poisoning them, keep these criminals on their laurels? This also boosts their morale. And because of such people, the increasing trend of adulterated and fake food items is becoming a stigma for the country.
