Jaisalmer. The blind case of dead bodies of two children found in a water tank in Babar Magra area of Kotwali police station area of Jaisalmer was revealed by the police station and DST within just 12 hours. In the case, police have arrested two accused, Ehsan son of Wali Mohammad (26) and Sonia Bano daughter of Noor Mohammad (20), resident of Babar Magra police station Kotwali, Jaisalmer.
SP Sudhir Chaudhary said that on Monday, Peerbux son of Aladdin Khan, resident of D Block Babar Magra, reported that on Sunday evening around 6 pm, his son Mohammad Hasnain, aged about 7 years, and nephew Mohammad Adil Pathan, son of Shaukat Ali, aged about 8 years, died at home. Were playing ahead. When they did not come home on time, we started searching for both the children. All the relatives, friends and other people also started searching for the children along with us.
At around 11 pm, the bodies of both the children were found in a water tank built in the vacant plot of Aradeen Khan, son of Sumre Khan. Doctors of the government hospital declared children Mohammad Hasnain and Adil Pathan dead. There were injury marks on the bodies of both the children. The water level in the tank was only two feet. We have full suspicion that both the children were murdered and thrown into the water tank. After registering the case on the report, investigation was started.
Seeing the seriousness of the incident, SP Chaudhary inspected the incident spot and kept it in the camp Kotwali. Special instructions were given to CO Rajesh Kumar Sharma, SHO Kotwali Sawai Singh and incharge DST Bhimrao Singh. After spot inspection by the FSL unit and collecting evidence, different police teams were formed.
By diligently searching for unknown accused, collecting intelligence and with technical support, within 12 hours of the incident, the mystery of blind murder was solved and the accused Ehsaan and Sonia Bano were arrested after interrogation. Detailed interrogation and investigation of the arrested accused is going on in the case.
