Hyderabad City: On Wednesday, the southern gas distribution company took action against 19 employees for failing to perform their duties, corruption and complaints received from residents. Some of the employees received memos asking them to explain themselves.
The divisional engineer of Keesara was suspended, his counterparts of Gachibowli and Patancheru were asked to report to the corporate office. The divisional engineer and assistant divisional engineer of Rajendranagar, assistant divisional engineer of Mehdipatnam, assistant engineers of Masab Tank and Kismatpur were notified. The assistant engineer of Madhapur was transferred to the corporate office.
The Line Inspector at Narsingi, Allapur and the artisans at Allapur were suspended. Proceedings were served on the Divisional Engineer at Ibrahimbagh and the Assistant Divisional Engineer was asked to report to the corporate office.
