After the ban on TikTok in India, the trend of making reels and memes came to the fore. After this people started posting videos on Instagram. Reels contains many types of videos including informational, funny, motivational and dance. Reels are a type of short video on Instagram. Initially these reels were of 30 seconds, but now it has been increased to 90 seconds. Nowadays, there is such a craze among the youth for making reels that they start making reels anywhere. Many times, due to this reeling, people even cause harm to themselves. Due to the pastime of increasing followers on social media, the craze of making reels is increasing in the youth. One never knows when this hobby reaches the point of obsession.
Ignoring the rules, people even sacrifice their lives in the passion of making a reel. In the city itself, youth can be seen risking their lives to increase followers on Facebook and Instagram by making reels on railway tracks, flyovers, standing between coach coaches in a moving train or while riding a bike. People get so lost in their passion to become popular on social media or to increase their followers that in order to show something different, they end up risking their own lives as well as the lives of others.
To gain popularity, sometimes someone reaches in front of the train on the railway track and sometimes someone makes a video by standing on a multistorey building. Sometimes stunting while driving, sometimes dancing and stunting on roads and intersections, making reels while standing on silisedh and dams. Sometimes doing strange things while standing on a mountain. Go somewhere in the middle of waterfalls and reservoirs and make reels while having carefree fun in the water. Sometimes making reels by going to the railway track or standing at the door of the platform or moving train. The selfesteem of the youth is being affected by comparison with reel life.
In the race to look perfect in the social media world, they get disappointed when their posts do not get the desired response. Experts suggest that to deal with this problem, parents and teachers should work together to make the youth realize the importance of real life.

If someone has talent, then instead of making reels that put your life at risk, you can focus on motivational, music, dance, technical knowledge, health tips, religion, science, fitness, comedy, food etc. -Can earn fame by making reels on hundreds of subjects including Paan.
