Prime Minister to inaugurate six Vande Bharat trains, launch several projects in Jharkhand

Jamshedpur (Jharkhand): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to signal the start of six Vande Bharat trains on Sunday at Tatanagar Junction railway station, officials said.

Modi has reportedly reached Ranchi and is likely to head to Jamshedpur soon. He will call off six Vande Bharat trains at Tatanagar Junction railway station around 10 am, the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.

Security has been tightened in view of the Prime Minister's visit.

“Platform number one at Tatanagar is fully ready. The Prime Minister will inaugurate six new Vande Bharat trains for the country and Jharkhand from here today,” an official statement said. According to the PMO statement, Modi will lay the foundation stone and dedicate several railway projects worth over Rs 660 crore to the nation through a video conference at 10.30 am, and will also distribute approval letters to 20,000 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) at Tatanagar.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the prime minister will also address a massive rally organised by the BJP in Jamshedpur, while sources said a roadshow is also planned.
