When the police interrogated Lal Singh who was caught from the pickup, he identified the person sitting in the passenger side of the pickup as Uday Lal Gurjar son of Ratan Lal resident of Pemakheda Bijaypur and the name of the one sitting in Bolero as Bhanwar Nayak son of Kalu resident of Badawali police station Kanera and two other persons. told. When the police searched the pickup stopped on the spot, 10 quintals, 40 kg, 820 grams of illegal opium was found in 55 plastic bags and one empty and 11 live cartridges of 12 bore gun were found.
The pickup and Swift car along with cartridges were seized and the accused Lal Singh Rajput was arrested. Advance investigation is being done by registering a case under NDPS Act, murderous assault and Arms Act at Bijaypur police station. According to police information, a reward of Rs 25,000 has been announced by the Superintendent of Police office on the arrest of the accused Udaylal Gurjar who fled from the spot.
