Bhopal . A heartwrenching incident has come to light in Madhya Pradesh. On Monday, two days before the fifth Investor Summit held in Rewa, an incident of gang rape of a newly married woman was carried out at the Bhairav Baba tourist spot located in Gud police station area, just 25 kilometers from the district headquarters. After the incident, serious questions have once again arisen regarding women's safety in the state.
According to Rewa SP Vivek Singh, a married couple studying in college had gone to Bhairav Baba tourist spot for a picnic on Monday, where some criminals already present tied the young man to a tree and raped his wife one by one. A video of the entire incident has been made.
According to the police, not only this, the criminals also threatened the newly married couple to make the video viral if they complained about the incident. After committing the incident the accused fled from the spot.
When the newly married couple reached the police station after the incident, the policemen present in the police station tried their best to suppress the matter. But, due to the stubbornness of the complainants, the plans of the police personnel could not succeed and on Tuesday, an FIR was registered on the complaint of the victim under various sections.
At present, the police is investigating the entire matter. Police said that strict action will be taken against the accused involved in this incident.
At the same time, the police, who came into action after the end of the Investors Summit, claim that they have detained two main suspects and many suspects are being interrogated. Congress is also attacking BJP regarding this entire matter.
