Jodhpur. Mahamandir police station of Jodhpur East district has arrested the leader of interdistrict Nakbajan gang, Narendra Soni, son of Mohanlal (35), resident of Suresia Colony police station junction Hanumangarh. Apart from the police station area, the said accused carrying a reward of Rs 10,000 is wanted in eight cases in Sirohi, Bikaner and Barmer districts.
Former DCP Alok Srivastava told that on July 20, unknown thieves broke the locks of the shop and house of complainant Ramchandra Soni and Vijay Kumar, residents of Marwar Nagar of Mahamandir police station area and stole valuables, jewelery and motorcycle. On which a case was registered and research was being done. Earlier in the case, the police had arrested two accused of this gang.
Gang leader Narendra Soni is a very vicious person, who provides all facilities to his gang members. He also destroys the stolen goods. The accused was residing at different places since the incident. Who was included in the list of top 10 wanted criminals at the police station level.
To arrest the gangster Narendra Soni, who was absconding for a long time, a special team was formed from Police Station Mahamandir under the supervision of ADCP Virendra Singh and ACP Hemant Kalal and under the leadership of SHO Shivlal Meena. Using the stateoftheart technical resources formed by the team, the hideouts of the accused were identified through technical means and intelligence system. After the information was confirmed, the accused was arrested from Hanumangarh. Due to which detailed research and recovery efforts are being made.
