Chikkamagaluru, (Karnataka). A shocking news has come out from Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka. Here a case has been registered against a young man for 'attempt to rape' a stray dog.
This case has come to light from Jayapura police station area of Chikkamagaluru city.
Police have identified the accused as Shivaraja, a resident of Kattimane area of Chikkamagaluru. A case has been registered in this regard on the basis of CCTV footage.
The video of the incident is also going viral on social media.
According to the police, the incident took place on October 18 at the Jayanagar bus stop, but it came to light on November 9 after a video of the obscene act captured in a CCTV camera installed at a shop at the bus stop surfaced.
In this, the accused is seen doing obscene acts with a dog.
The police took cognizance of the incident on the complaint of the beat constable and registered a case. There is anger among people and animal lovers due to this incident.
Police have said that the accused will be taken into custody and interrogated about the incident.
More information is yet to be revealed about the incident.

The police had arrested the accused. He was later released on a bond of Rs 10 lakh. He gave him a stern warning that if he indulged in cruelty to animals, he would be put behind bars.
