Pratapgarh. Parsola police station of Pratapgarh district has revealed the incidents of robbery happening with the pedestrians in the last few months and has secretly arrested three accused, whose names have not been made public yet.
SP Vineet Kumar Bansal said that under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Balveer Singh and CO Nanalal Salvi, under the leadership of Police Officer Parsola Bhemji Garasia, as part of the campaign being run to arrest the wanted criminals by revealing the incidents of robbery, theft and face burning in the district. The incidents of robbery were exposed by the police team formed by arresting three accused secretly.
SP Bansal said that on October 5, Mohanlal Meena (22), resident of Dhanera, had reported that today at 4 am he was going from Ghanera towards Nad to pick up his mother on his new bike. Four unknown persons started chasing him on two bikes from the canal culvert. When in doubt, he rode the bike at high speed and reached Jamudi. He took out the keys from the car and jumped into the courtyard of Mangilal Meena's house.
All four unknown miscreants ran away with his car. He came to know that later the same miscreants attacked Gamda, a resident of Badri Lal Dindor near Ramdevra Rasoda, with an iron rod from behind who was going from home towards Udaipur. He suffered serious injuries after falling from the moving vehicle. After that, the miscreants snatched Rs 5,000 in cash, a silver bangle, mobile and a bag containing his important documents from Badri Lal and ran away. Based on the report, a case was registered at Parsola police station and investigation was started.
Taking seriously the incidents of robbery taking place in the police station area, a special team was formed and the search for unknown accused was started. During the search, with the help of informer's information and technical help of cyber cell, three suspects were detained and interrogated. In which he along with another associate of his accepted to commit the robbery.
During interrogation, the three accused confessed to the robbery of Rs 25,000 with a businessman about 10 to 12 days ago in Jagalvada of the police station area, robbery of Rs 71,000 and a mobile phone near Jambudi Pulia two months ago and in the month of May in the police station Devgarh Circle. Devak Mata also admitted to robbing a businessman on the way to the forest.
