Chittorgarh. Bhupalsagar police of Chittorgarh district, in just five days, revealed the incident of theft of a truck filled with sarees worth Rs 52 lakh from outside a hotel on the highway and with the help of cyber cell, the truck owner Lal Regar, son of Sola and his son Naresh Regar, resident of Itali Road, Fatehnagar. Including Madanlal Jatiya son of Deva and Ganesh Jatiya son of Uday Lal resident of Ajankheda police station Akola and Manish Raigar son of Devi Lal resident of Bandinal. Police station Nathdwara district Rajsamand arrested and recovered stolen goods worth Rs 52 lakh. A container, two motorcycles and a Maruti van used in the crime have been seized from the arrested accused. The truck owner himself had stolen the goods along with the truck by deceiving the truck driver.
SP Sudhir Joshi said that on November 30, truck driver Kailash Dholi, resident of Akola, gave a report at Bhupalsagar police station that he has been driving the truck of Devi Lal Regar, resident of Fatehnagar for the last one and a half month. On 28th November, R. located at Sarali Road, Surat. Had left with friend Rahul carrying sarees from the transport company for Jaipur Transport Nagar. According to the owner Naresh Regar, on November 29, the truck was parked on the side of Welcome Hotel Bhupalsagar and locked. From there, Naresh Regar took him from the hotel on a bike to his home in Fatehnagar.
At 10 am on November 30, he reached the hotel with truck owner Naresh Regar. There was no truck outside the hotel, which was filled with goods worth about Rs 52 lakh. Unknown thieves stole the truck and goods. After registering a case on the report, a team was formed under the supervision of ASP Sarita Singh and CO Harji Lal Yadav and under the leadership of SHO Kapasan Ratan Singh and SHO Bhupalsagar Tulsiram to reveal the incident and arrest the accused.
The formed team inspected the incident site and collected technical data and technical evidence. After obtaining the recording of all the CCTV cameras around the incident and the entire route, analyzing the technical data and thoroughly interrogating the vehicle owner Devi Lal Regar and Naresh Regar resident of Fatehnagar, they along with Madan Lal Jatiya, Manish Regar, Ganesh Jatiya, Narpat Singh Told to plan the crime together.
On this, raids were conducted at various places at the houses and suspicious hideouts of all the above accused. The five accused were arrested from different places and stolen goods worth Rs 52 lakh were recovered. After the accused stole the truck along with the goods, they took it to a deserted place in Fatehnagar circle, loaded the goods in another container as per the previously made plan and hid the container in the parking lot of Hotel Samrat in Bhadsauda circle on Chittorgarh Udaipur highway.
It is said that by changing the number plate of the stolen truck and the names written on the truck, it is said to keep the truck hidden towards Madhya Pradesh while protecting it from the toll points. Which remains to be recovered. The container full of goods was recovered from the parking of Hotel Samrat and two motorcycles and a van used in the incident were seized.
