Hathras police arrested the robbery accused after an encounter


Hathras. Sasni police station of Hathras and SOG have achieved a great success in a joint operation. Police have arrested the accused of robbery after an encounter.

Actually, these miscreants had carried out a robbery on a businessman from Bulandshahr. Police have arrested a total of three accused after the encounter. However, two accused who were injured during the encounter have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The arrested accused include Akash Tomar, Suresh and Mintu.

On the information given by the arrested accused, the police recovered the looted WagonR car. Along with this, 2 illegal pistols, 2 empty cartridges and 2 live cartridges (315 bore) were also recovered from their possession.

Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Singh said that on September 23, miscreants riding a Scorpio committed a robbery. After the complaint of the victim, the police started investigation. Police received information that the miscreants were planning to commit another incident. After the information, the police set up checking, during which the police tried to stop a Scorpio. But, the miscreants started firing at the police, in response to which the police fired in selfdefense. Two miscreants were injured in this incident. Police is taking further action.

Let us tell you that these miscreants committed the robbery on 23rd September. The victim businessman Mohit had lodged a complaint in Sasni police station on 24th September. Businessman Mohit had told that he had gone to Agra from Bulandshahr for some work. While returning, the miscreants stopped their Scorpio in front of his car near village Sathiya in Sasni area and beat him up showing a pistol. After this, they took his car in their possession. Then after looting, they left him at a deserted place, while they fled after looting his WagonR car, laptop, mobile and cash.
