Churu. The police team of Sujangarh police station of Churu district has arrested hardcore criminal Ramdutt alias Sonu, son of Tejpal Thakur, resident of Basaighiyaram police station Deholi tehsil Rajakheda district Dholpur, who was absconding for 10 years in the case of attempt to murder by firing.
SP Jai Yadav said that under the special campaign being run to nab wanted criminals in the district, a team formed under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar and CO Darjaram Bose and under the leadership of SHO Sujangarh Dharmendra Kumar has arrested hardcore criminal Ramdatt alias Sonu. The arrested accused is a permanent warrantee included in the top 10 who was absconding for the last 10 years in a case of firing and attempt to murder registered in Sujangarh police station on 28 September 2014.
SP Yadav said that 32 cases of murder and Arms Act and other serious crimes are registered against the said permanent warrantee in various police stations of Dholpur, Churu, Bharatpur and Bundi in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. SHO Dharmendra Kumar, Head Constable Ramesh Kumar, Constable Praveen Kumar and Ramnath were involved in the arrest of the accused.
