Jalore. Bagra police station of Jalore district has arrested two accused, who were absconding for a long time, Madanlal Jat, son of Meethu Lal (49), resident of Ranchodpura police station, Kapasan district, Chittorgarh, and Mohanlal Thori, son of Ramlal (55), who were absconding in two separate cases of illegal drug smuggling. Depur Hinglat police station, Salamgarh has succeeded in arresting.
SP Gyan Chandra Yadav said that a special operation is being conducted under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Motaram Godara and CO Gautam Chand Jain to arrest wanted criminals in the district. An NDPS Act case was registered against the accused Madanlal Jat on 3 April 2022 at Ramsin police station and against Mohanlal Thori on 19 October 2023 at Ahor police station, in which the accused were absconding since the time of the incident.
SP Yadav said that a fivemember special team was formed under the leadership of SHO Bagra Jeet Singh to arrest the accused who were absconding for a long time. With the help of intelligence collection and technical assistance formed by the team, these two accused wanted for drug smuggling were arrested. Accused Madanlal Jat is included in the list of top 10 wanted at the district level and has a reward of ₹ 5000.
