New Delhi . The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested an absconding accused in the murder case from Nehru Place. The accused has been identified as Siddharth (21). He is a resident of Madanpur Khadar located in Sarita Vihar.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Sain said that the accused, along with 2025 associates, attacked Aman to create panic in the area. He was stabbed several times with a knife. To carry out this incident he took the help of his elder brother Saurabh alias Lefty. Saurabh is a notorious criminal and is a “crook” (BC) listed in Kalindi Kunj police station.
According to the police, they had received information about the incident on August 23, 2024. When the police reached the spot, Aman was lying injured. He was stabbed several times with a knife. He was immediately taken to the trauma center for treatment. A case of attempt to murder was registered against the attackers and a search was started. Several suspects, including Saurabh alias Lefty, had already been caught, while Siddharth was absconding.
ASI Krishna Kumar Pandey of Southern Range Crime Branch received information that the absconding suspect was about to come near Paras Cinema located at Siddharth Nehru Place. On this information, a team was formed under whose supervision Siddharth was arrested. During police interrogation, the accused confessed to his involvement in the crime. Accused Siddharth belongs to a lower middle class family and has studied till 10th standard. He is the youngest among his three brothers and a married sister. He used to work in mobile phone repair in Nehru Place area and was absconding after the incident. Both his elder brothers are already in jail for attempt to murder.
