Samastipur . On Monday night in Samastipur, Bihar, police were attacked by family members of Warranthi. Three policemen were injured in the attack.
According to the information, when Musrigharari police station chief along with his team was trying to arrest Warranty and put him in the vehicle on the orders of SubDivisional Nayak Magistrate in the industrial area of Harpur Ailoth, his son, wife and factory workers stole glass bottles, Attacked the police with bricks and sticks. People also tried to free the warranty from the police.
Three policemen, the driver of a government vehicle and an officer have been injured in the clash. All the injured are undergoing treatment and their condition is said to be stable.
The workers also allege that the police lathicharged them and during this, many people of the village also got injured. He is also undergoing treatment.
Sadar SubDivisional Police Officer1 Sanjay Pandey, accepting the incident, said that in case of attack on the police team, an FIR will be registered and appropriate legal action will be taken. He also told that even before this, the Excise Department had raided the warranty's house and recovered liquor, against which an FIR had also been registered.
Warranty's son gave a statement regarding the incident that when the police came to his house and started taking his father away, he asked the reason. In response to this, the police started attacking them with sticks. Six other people of the village were also badly injured in this attack.
