Jaipur,The team of Anti Gangster Task Force Police Headquarters and Udyog Nagar police station of Sikar district caught a youth Vikas Kumar Swami, son of Madanlal (24), resident of Hardia police station, Babai district, Neemkathana Nawalgarh road, who was roaming around with illegal weapons. Police have recovered a countrymade pistol with magazine and 6 live cartridges from the accused.
Additional Director General of Police Anti Gangster Task Force Dinesh MN said that the AGTF team of Police Headquarters is continuously taking action against active gangsters, hardcore criminals, rewarded criminals, illegal drugs and arms smugglers. On the information of AGTF team on Friday night, Udyog Nagar police station has succeeded in arresting a criminal with illegal weapons.
MN said that during intelligence collection, the team got information that a young man wearing black half pants and vest was roaming around with a weapon on the road leading from Nawalgarh Road towards Mayur Garden, in search of some major incident. Seeing the police team of Udyog Nagar police station, which reached the spot on the information of AGTF, a youth started trying to run away. The team surrounded and caught youth Vikas Kumar Swami with great difficulty. On search, an illegal pistol and 6 live cartridges were found in the youth's pants. During interrogation, the accused said that he brought the weapon from Uttar Pradesh. Information is being collected about the purpose for which the accused youth brought the weapon, previous criminal records etc.
