Anantpura police station in Kota city exposed a twowheeler theft gang


-With the help of DST, two vicious vehicle thieves were arrested and 12 stolen motorcycles were recovered

The team of Anantapura police station of Kota city, with the help of DST, busted a twowheeler theft gang and arrested two members of the gang namely Shahid alias Sajid Khan, son of Saddu Khan (43), resident of Cantonment police station Gumanpura, currently residing in Anantapura police station and Sanu alias Jammu, son of Abbas Ali (36), resident of Vigyan Nagar, currently residing in Anantapura police station and recovered a total of 12 stolen motorcycles.

SP Amrita Duhan said that a special campaign is being run to prevent the incidents of vehicle thefts happening continuously in the city and to nab the criminals involved in this. To make this campaign successful, a special team was formed under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Dilip Saini and CO Manish Sharma and under the leadership of SHO Anantpura Bhupendra Singh.

Acting on the information of DST, both the teams formed recovered 12 bikes without number plates including one stolen bike from Anantpura police station area and arrested the accused Sajid alias Shahid and Sanu alias Jammu. During interrogation, they told that they had stolen all these bikes from different areas of Kota district. In this regard, the police team is questioning the accused thoroughly.
