Greater Noida. In the case of murder of four people of the same family in Amethi, several police teams were busy in catching the criminals. Meanwhile, Noida Unit of Uttar Pradesh STF has arrested a criminal near Jewar Toll.
According to the information received from the STF unit, the accused Chandan Verma, son of Maya Ram Verma, resident of Khatrana Maidanpur Rae Bareli, who carried out the horrific incident in Amethi, in which four members of the same family were murdered, has been arrested by the Noida Unit of UP STF. He was arrested on October 4 from Jewar Toll Plaza Gautam Buddha Nagar. Accused Chandan has been lodged in the registered case of murder in Shivratanganj police station, Amethi. Advance legal action is being taken by the local police.
It is noteworthy that late evening on Thursday evening in Shivratanganj area, fearless miscreants shot dead a teacher, his wife and two daughters. It is believed that rivalry regarding the case is the reason behind the incident. The teacher's family is a resident of Rae Bareli district. Heavy police force including DM and SP had reached the spot. Police are investigating on many aspects. Several teams were formed to arrest the criminals.
According to the information, teacher Sunil Kumar (35), son of Ramgopal, resident of Sudamapur in Gadaganj police station area of Rae Bareli, along with his wife Poonam Bharti (30), sixyearold daughter Srishti, twoyearold daughter Lado in Ahorwa Bhawani town of Shivratanganj police station area of the district. Munna lived on rent in Awasthi's building. Sunil Kumar was an assistant teacher in the composite school located in Panhauna of Tiloi tehsil area. He was present at home with his wife and children on Thursday evening. Then some unknown people arrived and opened fire targeting the teacher. His wife and two innocent daughters, who came to his rescue, were also shot by the miscreants. The attackers escaped after committing the crime.
