70 thousand candidates appeared for the police recruitment exam at 80 centers in Varanasi


Varanasi. 70 thousand candidates appeared in the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination at 80 centers in Varanasi on Friday. It is worth mentioning that the UP government is recruiting for 60,244 police constable posts. Its examinations are being conducted on 23, 24, 25 and 30, 31 August at 1,174 centers in 67 districts of the state.

Divisional Commissioner of Varanasi Kaushal Raj Sharma said that arrangements were made for the police recruitment examination in all the four districts of Varanasi division. Senior officers of the district administration were on duty since morning. All the candidates were given admission on time and question papers were also distributed to them on time. The first shift examination was conducted peacefully in Varanasi district and division.

After the completion of the examination on 23 August, the administration has started preparing for the further examination. Preparations are also being made for this so that the candidates do not face any kind of problem and the examination is completed peacefully.

On the other hand, the government has made arrangements for free travel in roadways buses for the candidates appearing for the UP Police exam. For this, they will have to give a copy of their admit card to the bus conductor. This facility will be valid till 24 hours before the exam.

For the remaining examinations, checking campaign will be conducted by the police with the help of drone cameras.
