6 accused arrested for making viral video of a youth being tied to a tree and beaten up


Baran. The police team of Sadar police station of Baran district arrested six accused in the case of a viral video of a youth being tied to a tree with chains and beaten up, namely Rameshwar Mogya son of Jamunalal (55), Babu Lal Mogya son of Jamunalal (34), Rukmani Mogya wife of Rameshwar (50), Dwarka Bai wife of Jamunalal (60), Vinod Bai wife of Bhuriya (40) resident of Borina police station Sadar and Rukmini Bai wife of Jagmohan (30) resident of Kalamanda police station Kotwali district Baran.

SP Rajkumar Chaudhary said that on Monday 23 September, Jagmohan Mogya, resident of Kalamanda Hall, Gidpata police station Bhanwargarh, reported at the Sadar police station that Babu Lal Mogya, resident of Borina, called him and asked him to come home with his wife. When he went to Borina with his wife Rukmani on 4 September, Jamuna Lal, Dwarka Bai and their sons Babu Lal and Rameshwar, Bhuria's wife Vinod Bai and his wife Rukmani Bai locked him in the house.

On Sunday, 22 September, around 67 am, they dragged him out of the house and tied him to a tree with a chain. Babulal beat him with shoes and Rameshwar beat him with a chain. My brotherinlaw Jal Prasad and Mukesh Mogya Borina came and after convincing me, freed me. Shortly after this, the police came and took him to the police station. After registering a case on the report and investigating, the police have arrested six accused in the case.
