Barmer. The team of Dhorimanna police station of Barmer district has arrested accused Ramesh Kumar Vishnoi, son of Uda Ram, resident of Khari police station Dhorimanna, who was absconding for 1 year in the case of illegal drug smuggling.
SP Narendra Singh Meena said that last year a case under NDPS Act was registered against accused Ramesh Kumar Vishnoi at Dhorimana police station in the case of illegal drug smuggling. In which the accused has been absconding since the time of the incident. A reward of ₹10,000 was announced from his office on the accused who was absconding for a long time and he was included in the list of top 10 wanted at the police station level.
SP Meena said that a special campaign is being run to arrest the criminals who have been wanted in the district for a long time. Under this campaign, SHO Manak Ram and his team, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Jasaram Bose and CO Sukha Ram Bishnoi, have succeeded in arresting the accused with the help of intelligence gathering and technical assistance.
