Whatsapp's new security feature is amazing, now you can call anyone without showing your number

New Delhi. WhatsApp has come up with a great feature to enhance the privacy of its users. According to WhatsApp feature tracker 'Web Tale Info', the main update of this messaging app is to update the most important “Username and PIN” option.

This new feature will give all WhatsApp users the option to change their phone number to a username. This feature of WhatsApp will help users to keep their numbers private.

With the arrival of this feature, users can choose not to share their mobile number with everyone. In this update, WhatsApp will give its users three privacy settings, “Username,” “Phone number,” and “Username with PIN.”

WhatsApp users can hide their phone number by selecting the “Username” option, which will only show the caller a username that the person has provided in their settings. However, it is important to note in WhatsApp's update that people who are in the user's current contact list will still be able to see the user's number despite activating this setting. After the setting, only new people will see your username in your profile.

The third option in this update is that WhatsApp has also introduced a fourdigit PIN code setting in this feature, “Username with PIN.” After using this setting, users can share their PIN with some people. After this, only the people with whom the PIN has been shared will be able to connect with that user on WhatsApp. However, this setting is designed to make WhatsApp users more secure in their privacy while using this messaging site.

There is a drawback in this feature of WhatsApp. If a WhatsApp user already has your phone number, he can send you a message. Even if the PIN feature is activated on your WhatsApp.

This update of WhatsApp is designed to give users more privacy in their messaging app. Currently this feature is rolling out in WhatsApp Android beta version 2.24.18.2. All other WhatsApp users will get this update soon.
