New Delhi . The country's big car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki on Wednesday presented the results of the third quarter of FY 25. The company's profit in the OctoberDecember quarter increased by 16 percent to Rs 3,727 crore on an annual basis, which was Rs 3,206.8 crore in the same period of the previous financial year.
Due to over -sales, the income from the company's operations has increased by 15.7 percent to Rs 38,764.3 crore on an annual basis. This figure was Rs 33,512.8 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
The company's expenditure in the December quarter has increased by 16 percent to Rs 35,163 crore on an annual basis.
On the standalone basis, the company's net profit increased by Rs 3,130 crore to Rs 3,525 crore from Rs 3,130 crore to Rs 3,525 crore.
In the third quarter of FY 25, the company's EBITa has increased by 14.4 percent to Rs 4,470.3 crore on an annual basis, which was Rs 3,907.9 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. The company's EBITa margin is almost flat at 11.6 percent.
The company said that during the quarter, it recorded the highest net sales of Rs 36,802 crore so far, which is more than Rs 31,860 crore for the same quarter of the previous year.
Maruti Suzuki said in a regulatory filing that the company sold 5,66,213 vehicles in the December quarter, compared to 5,01,207 vehicles in the same quarter last year.
Maruti Suzuki sold 4,66,993 vehicles in the domestic market in the third quarter, compared to 4,29,422 vehicles in the same quarter last year. During this time the company also exported 99,220 vehicles, which is the highest export ever in any quarter. Last year, the company exported 71,785 vehicles during the same period.
