New Delhi . Twowheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India sold a total of 5,97,711 units in October this year, showing a growth of 21 percent yearonyear. The company had sold a total of 4,92,884 units in October last year.
Giving information, the company said that in the festive month it saw a double digit increase in sales on annual basis. Of the total sales this year, 5,53,120 units were sold domestically while the export figure reached 44,591, which is 20 percent and 48 percent more respectively compared to October 2023 last year.
HMSI sold a total of 37,56,088 units in the AprilOctober period this year. In which 34,34,539 units were sold domestically. In this the export figure was 3,21,549 units. This increase in sales of the company reflects meeting the demand of customers across the country.
HMSI has crossed one crore cumulative twowheeler sales mark in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Chhattisgarh in Central India. Apart from this, the company has also touched the sales figure of 50 lakh units in Karnataka.
HMSI has opened a new Bigwing dealership in Kalamassery, Kochi, Kerala. With this the company has expanded its dealership network. With this new dealership the company's premium twowheeler offering has been strengthened.
HMSI has introduced the new CB300F flexfuel motorcycle. This motorcycle is an important step towards greener transportation in India. It is India's first 300 cc flexfuel motorcycle, capable of using ethanolblended fuel.
Additionally, the company also conducted awareness campaigns in 10 cities across India including Bikaner, Palghar, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Shillong in its continued commitment towards road safety.
