A recent report suggests that the company is expected to soon unveil a new smartphone inspired by the design of another Nokia Lumia phone, namely the Nokia Lumia 1020. The name of this rumoured smartphone is not known yet. However, a leaked render has suggested the expected design elements of the alleged phone.

However, the rumoured HMD smartphone has a centrally aligned circular rear camera module instead of the rectangular island we see on the HMD Skyline. This circular camera unit is reminiscent of the older Nokia Lumia 1020. The module appears with five smaller slots that are angled to house four cameras and an LED flash.
With support for optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 41-megapixel main rear camera sensor, the Nokia Lumia 1020 was a popular choice for camera enthusiasts at the time. HMD's Lumia 1020-inspired phone may also be a camera-centric phone.
The report adds that the Lumia 1020-inspired HMD phone could arrive in a bright yellow colour version similar to Nokia’s previous model. However, the name of the HMD smartphone is not yet known. No other specifications have appeared online either, but we can expect more details of the rumoured phone to surface in the coming months.
